From Civil Students to Civil Society
Yesterday afternoon and night, as well as today, all day one major though occupied my mind. How to finish up and hand in by the deadline the project that Mio, Niki, Dobri and I have been working on for the past several weeks. I don’t why, but things around me truly always tend to happen at the very last possible moment, a split second before the deadline. And so it happened this again (yet once again!).
Mio and I spent last night over the documents, revisiting the budgets, wondering what we might have missed out in the midst of the document mayhem. We did eventually managed to get through the paper work. Today was not better than yesterday – we went to two of our supporting organizations for the final touches on the documents, recalculated the total budget plan once again and…. somewhere there we were done! Finished! Ready to send the app. And Mio finally e-mailed it. So that was the end of this emotional-rational roller coaster of low and high points developing the paper for this project. Hope it really works out!
The two photos below show the low and high point in this process – on the left: Mio, yesterday, scanning yet another time through the documents; on the right: Mio, writing the actual email to the OSF, with which we sent the whole complete package today, a few hours away from the very very last deadline.
As we were hurrying around downtown from the office of one of the supporting organizations to the one of the other organization, I took some photos with my new mobile (actually the photos you see in this post are the first photos I publish, taken with my T630 mob camera).
[Note.: Please don’t wonder why I’m looking that weird – few hours of sleep cause human facial expression sometimes to be a strange matter!]
